475ml full cream milk
4 egg yolks
1 whole egg
2 tablespoons granulated artificial sweetener
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon corn flour
100 ml fresh cream
Method
475ml full cream milk

Method
- In a large bowl beat egg yolks and egg.
- Add granulated sweetener and corn flour, then mix well.
- In a small saucepan, bring milk and vanilla essence to the boil.
- Slowly add hot milk to the egg mixture and stir well.
- Pour mixture into a large saucepan, along with the cream and stir until thickened.
- Serve hot or as a cold dessert.
